- Beltane Farm Dinner - Enjoy a delightful artisan food dinner on a
small New England Farm prepared by local chefs and complimented
by some of the best cheeses, wines and chocolates the Northeast
Region has to offer!

When: Saturday, June 28th, 2008 from 7-10:30 pm
Where: Beltane Farm - 59 Taylor Bridge Rd., Lebanon, CT 06249
Cost: $100 per person (gratuity included)
Menu: This sumptuous meal presented under tent at Beltane Farm will feature locally produced all natural, grass fed beef, organic free range chicken, fresh locally grown greens and vegetables, farmstead cheeses, breads, condiments and sweets - all from farms and small batch producers in the Northeast. Foods will be prepared by the talented chefs at Grant's Restaurant, West Hartford. The evening's cheese plate will include award winning CT made cheeses from Beltane Farm and Cato Corner Farm accompanied by handcrafted cheeses from ME, VT and MA. Wines will come from CT's own Hopkins Vineyard and Chamard Vineyard - Spirits from Westford Hill Distillers in CT.
Meet the Cheese Maker - Cheese maker Paul Trubey will talk to guests about farmstead cheese making, the flavor characteristics of his fresh and ripened goats' milk cheeses and his breeds of Oberhasli and La Mancha goats.
Meet the Sommelier - Sally Camm, from Artisan Made-Northeast, a Certified Sommelier and international wine expert will talk about the wine selections, grape varietals and individual winemakers
Your Hosts - Your hosts for the evening are Beltane Farm, makers of award winning goats' milk cheeses since 1999 and Artisan Made-Northeast, the region's go-to resource for artisan made specialty foods.

- "The Cheese Nun" This brilliant documentary produced by the Paris
American Television Company chronicles the travels and research of Sister Noella Marcellino. Cheesemaker, Fulbright scholar, and Ph.D in Microbiology
from the University of Connecticut. Sister Noella's study of the
microorganisms that grow on traditionally made cheeses opens up a whole new world for cheesemakers, researchers and cheese enthusiasts alike.
