Open Tuesday thru Saturday 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 5 pm.

  • Meet The Cheesemaker - Beltane Farm, Lebanon, CT
    Meet cheesemaker Paul Trubey from Beltane Farm in Lebanon, CT. Paul will
    talk about his award winning goats' milk cheeses, his process of making
    cheese and his selection of Oberhasli and La Mancha Goats. Certified
    Sommelier Sally Camm will pair Paul's cheeses with a lovely selection of wines from around the world. Partnering with Nutmeg Wine & Spirits, this 1 1/2 hr class will feature cheeses and complementary wines for discussion and enjoyment.     Mark Gillman, Cheesemaker from award winning Cato Corner Farm
    in Colchester, CT, will visit the Artisan Food Store on Tuesday,
    February 17th, from 7:30-9 pm. Don't miss this opportunity to
    learn about farmstead cheeses from one of the top cheesemakers
    in the US today! Guests will sample Cato Corner Farm Cheeses and
    Sommelier Sally Camm will pair wines with Cato's delicious aged Jersey Cows' milk cheeses. Wines will be provided by Nutmeg Wines & Spirits. Be

    Weston, Vermont. Mark and Gari Fischer handcraft Weston Wheel
    the award winning aged sheep's milk cheese along with
    Summer Snow (Camembert style) and the cow/sheep blends
    Timberdoodle and Humble Pie. Learn about their cheesemaking
    process, their flock of East Friesian sheep and life on a
    smal farm in VT. Sally Camm, Sommelier, will pair the Woodcock
    Farm cheeses with wines from around the world, compliments

  • "The Cheese Nun" This brilliant documentary produced by the Paris
    American Television Company chronicles the travels and research of Sister Noella Marcellino. Cheesemaker, Fulbright scholar, and Ph.D in Microbiology
    from the University of Connecticut. Sister Noella's study of the
    microorganisms that grow on traditionally made cheeses opens up
    a whole new world for cheesemakers, researchers and cheese enthusiasts alike.
